First alliance to return to the Tire Fire will discover a nest of baby fire salamander mutts and their now steaming eggshells, seemingly abandoned by their mother.

If they so choose, each alliance member can ‘adopt’ a baby fire salamander for the next 3 games days. After 3 days, the fire salamander will grow too hot for the tribute to carry without burning themselves and will leave the tribute in the night.
