the gallagher family of district 12 is a poor, dysfunctional family found in the seam, lead by eldest sister "fiona" gallagher in the absence of their estranged mother and their drunken father, "frank". together they survive by any means possible, including begging, bartering and stealing. no matter what happens, they are family, and loyalty is of utmost important to them.

a plot loosely based off of shameless (US). the ages are just a suggestion: feel free to shape your character in any way you see fit, including name, face claim, and personality (especially if you'd like to make debbie a little less insufferable). if you would like to create an associated character who is not listed below (such as the milkoviches or kev and v), feel free to still fill out the form with your desired character.

criminally smart, the patriarch of the family spends his days intoxicated from countless drugs and alcohol. although easy-going, he is incredibly selfish and will do almost anything just to get his hands on booze. frank is often found causing trouble around the district, and is notoriously known for being the town drunk. he is almost completely reliant on his family for financial support, although not seeming to care too much for their well-being.

petra "fiona" gallagher

fiona takes on as head of household in absence of frank and monica. she is sole provider for her family, and takes on several jobs to provide for them. she is incredibly resourceful and street smart - although she has a bit of a temper and is not afraid to take on people who do her dirty. fiona suffers from severe self confidence and abandonment issues and as a result cannot find stability in her relationship and personal life.

the second oldest of the gallagher bunch, lip is a natural genius who excels in school, although he is extremely irresponsible and lacks a work ethic. lip is very protective of his family, and would do anything for them. however, lip is also very self-destructive and struggles with alcoholism from a young age. he is often found using his intelligence to create schemes to make quick money.

unlike his older brother, ian lacks the smarts but has a much better work ethic. ian suffers from bipolar disorder, which makes him impulsive and rash at times. he struggles a lot with insecurities surrounding his disorder and his sexuality, making him extremely self-conscious about himself.

the other sister of the family, debbie gallagher is an interesting character. she is incredibly naive and stubborn, and rarely takes no for an answer. she has always been mature and smart for her age, but as a result has become manipulative and reckless, and often has a lot of drama surrounding her romantic and platonic relationships. despite all this, she is a kind-hearted person at her core and shows extreme loyalty to her family.

carl is one of the more genuine members of the family, and shows extreme loyalty to anyone close to him. carl has a tendency to hang around the wrong crowd, and often gets himself into situations that land in him trouble. he is extremely afraid of falling down the same path as his father. carl is not very smart, but like his older brother ian he has an amazing drive which makes up for it.

the youngest of all of the children, he is the favourite of frank's and the only one who is relatively close to him. liam is incredibly smart like lip, and shows a natural talent for manipulation like his father, however he often uses this to help his family rather than himself.
