School Project (Pearl/Killua)

Pearl had been packing her bag, getting ready to head straight home. For once she didn't have training straight after school and would actually have a little bit of time to spend with her sister before she had to get to the academy. But Pearl reluctantly stopped zipping her bag when the teacher cleared her throat and called them all back to attention, insisting that they listen to her for the remaining two minutes of class.
She used those two minutes to explain to her students that they were going to be doing a research project. She would be dividing the class into pairs, assigning them a fish to research, and then next week they would all be presenting on what they'd learned. Worst part, they were expected to do their research outside of school, which Pearl found incredibly unfair. Plenty of them had work to do or, as was the case for her, training. They didn't have the time to do whole assignments outside of school hours! But their teacher ignored the protests, simply giving everyone their designated partner and fish.
Pearl's partner: Killua Kravitz. Pearl knew who he was, of course. She knew who everyone in her class was. But she'd never actually spoken to him before. He seemed to have little to no interest in talking to her - or anyone - and Pearl hadn't been inclined to push it. Their fish: Salmon. About which Pearl also knew a decent amount. Who didn't know about Salmon?
Sighing, Pearl got to her feet and went over to Killua. "Do you want to get started now?" she asked. "Or set up another time to meet?"
