Combat for the 5th Annual Hunger Games will take the form of a bracketed bloodbath. The brackets will be as follows:Round One
Upper District tributes: 1F v. 1M v. 2F v. 2M v. 3F v. 3M
Upper Middle District tributes: 4F v. 4M v. 5F v. 5M v. 6F v. 6M
Lower Middle District tributes: 7F v. 7M v. 8F v. 8M v. 9F v. 9M
Lower District tributes: 10F v. 10M v. 11F v. 11M v. 12F v. 12M
Round Two
the last Upper District tribute v. the last Upper Middle District tribute
the last Lower Middle District tribute v. The last Lower District tribute
Round Three: Finale
the last Upper or Upper Middle District tribute v. the last Lower Middle or Lower District tribute
The IC translation of this will be tributes swimming for the ship nearest to the holding cell they're released from. Each group of tributes may work together to decide the customization of their ship. This is just for fun and will have no effects on combat.
Each group may work together to decide:
- a name for their ship
- the color of their ship's sails
- a design for their ship's Jolly Roger
Otherwise each ship is a nearly identical small brigantine with three cannons inset into each side for a total of six cannons each. Only the deck will be accessible to tributes. Any doors, hatches, or other points of access to anything below deck will be closed off. During the Games the ships will slowly sail in circles around the arena so that different fight views steadily rotate for the audience. The tributes will not be allowed to affect the steering of the ships, nor will they have access to the person or mechanism that does the steering.
