you are so eager to tell your classmates that your parents are peacekeepers who fought alongside the capitol to end the rebellion, but the orphaned children of rebels do not seem to be impressed. the war brought starvation, death to the district, the citizens feeling a time of economic disparity never before seen. the loyalists fought the rebels to keep your country safe, to keep panem the thriving nation it was before the dark days. yet, it wasn't enough for the rebels. people like your parents had to keep them in line, conserve the patriotic ideals of panem. and for that, you believe the rebels need to be punished. even at the expense of the loyalists.

you love your country. after all, why bite the hand that feeds you?
