Welcome Tributes, Spectators, and all in between!

As the start of the 88th Games approaches, we begin the festivities with the Opening Ceremony! Stylists will dress their tributes in an ensemble representing their respective districts for all of Panem to see. Be creative and draw influences from unimaginable places. Be expressive and proudly represent your district. But most importantly, designers, make it work.

OOC information:

Tributes will team up with their district partner and stylist/mentor (if applicable) to create a memorable first-look for the Capitol and the rest of Panem to see during the Tribute Parade. Entries may consist of mood boards and/or blitz posts. One person from a team can post as a representative of the rest of their team, so long as they state who helped with what, or the tributes can each post individually.

Incentive: Each participating team’s tributes will each receive a Participation Badge!

Adorned in garments that give the illusionary appearance of a cross between human and goat or faun— a satyr, more specifically— the tributes sport artificial horns and hooves. The male is dressed in minimal armor, while the female wears a chest plate and gauntlets of wood overtop a flowing white blouse.

willa wears a periwinkle dress with silver accents reminiscent of waves. a large crescent moon sits atop her head, and black and silver fabric weaves around her neck. robin wears a short silver crown, and a red cape with fur accents drapes his shoulders. he wears a red button down jacket and black slacks underneath, with shiny leather boots.

because what's more nine than guns and bullet-proof contour am I right? Body chains and luxurious tactelnecks made from a nice thick wool adorn the bodies of the district nine tributes fireflyz and ✌ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ . Every inch of the suit is bullet resistant, a nod to Adroxis Ammunitions, one of Nine's oldest factories.

DISTRICT ONE

tributes: julian le roux + emerson le roux
victors: topaz ross, peridot myler,

Julian may be ivory and Emerson may be obsidian, but they are both Le Rouxes and golden. When the lights turn to them and the parade commences, their chariot rolls out to the faces, cladded in the same shimmering gold they are adorned in.

They do not need an introduction, they are here for a coronation.

District Two

Rather than relying on their District's namesake, Two's stylists have instead opted to pull inspiration from the blood Two is known to shed in the Games itself. Their outfits stand bold as their chariot carries them forward bold colors and simplistic approach contrasts some of the complexities of other outfits, and is broken up by the numerous gold accent pieces and masquerade masks that the tributes wear. The surface of the accents seems to move and shimmer as if it has a life of its own. Or, as some commentators have pointed out, as if the accent pieces are meant to move like the deadly weapons the Careers are known to wield.
