The Bridgertons.
◦ Violet, Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton.
The widowed mother of the eight Bridgerton children, her decades-long marriage that has ceased with her husband’s death has made her all the more doting towards her sons and daughters. Violet wants the best for her children, and she has lived too long in One to know that ‘the best’ means marrying equally powerful, if not more, families and forgoing alliances in golds and diamonds. She’ll find the ideal love matches for each of her children.
◦ Ashford, Viscount Bridgerton. (18) | Played by Sidney. The heir to the family estate and title after his family’s death, he has only begun to skim the surface of what it means to carry a legacy as heavy and grand as the Bridgerton’s. Between scouring lovers for his younger siblings and running away from love on his own, he must learn how to walk the tightrope of making sure the Bridgerton name is not tarnished.
◦ Benito Bridgerton. (17) | Played by Griffin.
Born the middle son, he knows luxury more so than his brothers because that is what being the middle son means: luxury. He leaves the heir status and every problem it brings to his older brother, and he leaves the duty to learn and be a scholar to his younger. That leaves him with everything in-between, such as the arts, music, and every forbidden pleasure to his social circle. However, can he leave himself out of scandals, too?
◦ Cedric Bridgerton. (16) | Played by Celestials.
Young, brilliant, and a gentleman through and through, he is the Bridgerton that most believes will excel at the prestigious university he’s been accepted to mere sixteen. But he has begun to distinguish between what he wants, and his family wants, and as he ponders over it, he isn’t sure about his own wants. Does he want to continue down the academic path or something better, something far better?
◦ Donata Bridgerton. (16) | Played by Rave.
The social season has been expecting her. Diamond of the first water, she is the Bridgertons’ crowning glory, and looking at her, it’s easy to know why. She is beauty wrapped in grace, she is silk and velvet and cashmere. The problem, however, is that moths flock to the brightest flame, and she doesn’t know who to choose. If she’s honest, her heart has only begun to grow and mature—it’s still far too innocent.
◦ Elizabeth Bridgerton. (15) | Played by Charade.
There’s ink stains on her fingertips again, and her mother will surely scold her for it. Or, perhaps, she shall be resigned now, because this isn’t the first time. She knows that her daughter doesn’t care about the social scene, nor is she interested in being brought to every ball like a bejeweled ware to be sold. No, she’s far more interested in writing her own happy ending, one that shall not end with her trapped in a soulless marriage.
◦ Unnamed Bridgerton. (14) | Played by N/A.
His heart is still a flower that has yet to bloom. And it’s a mystery how long that shall take, because cloistered behind the glided walls of the Bridgerton mansion, he has never known hardships or any other sufferings if you exclude the times he’s scrapped his knees playing tag. But the world has its way of handling soft things, and it’s only a matter of time before it gets him, too. It’s both tragic and a relief that he doesn’t know this.
◦ Gisella Bridgerton. (13) | Played by Zoe.
She has always been the Bridgerton with true talent. Where her sisters are blessed by beauty, she is blessed by an unnatural forte at the piano and other instruments that she play as a master would at such a young age. She know she’ll be content to spend her days away in this same old fashion, perched before her piano and tapping away on the ivory keys, melodies haunting and rich escaping from every move of her fingertips.
◦ Unnamed Bridgerton. (12) | Played by N/A.
The true youngest of the Bridgertons, her being spoiled isn’t a mystery ... but the fact that she’s oblivious to this, is. She has only ever known wealth. Her bedroom wallpapers costs a fortune but she scribbles on it. Her dolls can feed about two struggling families but she breaks their heads off. She has only ever known her perfect childhood, and nothing else.
