Nothing's ever good enough for his desperation for answers.
Hours spent watching peacekeepers and trainers enter and exit the rooms of the training center around him. Notes written onto paper of times where a computer sits behind a closed door; unknowingly the target of his own desire to find answers in the capitol's system about his father. Bellamy Scott's quiet when he waits with unassuming eyes as he waits for the right moment; jaw clenched in determination with the smell of gunpowder and fire flowing through his system. Fingers trembling at his side as he avoids eye contact with a Keeper who walks out of the room across the way. A silence falls over him as his own heart beats out of his chest.
Lucas and Sierra weren't there to tell him to not risk it. A dumb idea for a desperate boy who wanted to find out what happened to his father. Hacking a computer wasn't easy, but he's done it multiple times at his father's work. Schematics for missiles and arena traps. Blueprints for weapon designs and aircraft improvements. He's gotten to it all without a Keeper noticing him. Cameras designed to keep an eye of anyone going in and out, but Bellamy's got an eye that's unmatched in Three. Details never go unnoticed when he's around. A blind spot in the cameras had been easy to find and when the computer screen glittered when the door swung open, he'd almost cheered.
Now, he's set his plan into motion. Break in, get the information, and get out as fast as possible. Feeling like one of the detectives from his worn novels given to him by Lucas, Bellamy's already set into motion dastardly sneaky plan of his own design. A trainer comes out of the room, walking past the door that swung hard in front of him, but not hitting him. Bellamy's foot catches the door as he quickly slips inside behind. Computer screen glowing to him as he starts moving on with his plan. Hacking into the Capitol system would take some time, but he could wait to succeed.
Normally, he'd have it done beforehand, but time wasn't on his side.
Apparently, neither was luck.
The door opens with ease as Bellamy jumps in fear.
"Sorry. I-I-I..."
