Love Bellisario.

District two’s male tribute. 

Mauve had found her eyes following him around the training center once again. She found that she was fascinated by him, by the way he would smile at the tributes around him, one that would suggest kindness, encouraging them to trust him. Mauve wouldn’t be surprised if many fell for it, with a pretty face and charming words, she could see how many might fall into his trap, not knowing that within moment they had made a mistake, one that could very well prove to be fatal.

She had wondered when that trickster smile might be turned on her, Love Bellisario trying pry her open with sweet words, searching for a weakness to be exploited. But it seemed that smile was reserved everyone but her. 

and that kind of pissed her off.

She watched as he moved on to his next target, eyes burning with something close to jealousy. And jealousy never boded well with her, Beth knew that more than most. Beth and her mother- and possibly Atticus. No, Atticus was different. With him she had felt like she had lost control of the situation, he had tried to direct her, to dismiss her, as though she was nothing but an annoyance. 

Pushing herself to her feet she approaches him with a smile identical to the ones she had seen him throwing around, one that she would very much like to break. “Love Bellisario, isn’t it?” Though her smile is somewhat warm, her words are laced with ice.

“Call me inpatient… but it seems like you might have missed me on your rounds.” She pauses,  her smile slipping slightly, “So I thought I’d remedy that.”
