Call of the wild {horde vs Liara day 5}

After Mauve leaves, I say my final goodbye to Bellamy. It's hard, and it breaks my heart because I don't want to leave him. He left me behind when he promised he wouldn't. My heart is shattering, and I know sitting here won't do any good. I can't bring him back. I can't save him now. I whisper my final goodbyes with a promise that I'll either join him soon or murder anything and anyone standing in my way. Mauve is at fault, and I should've killed her last night, but I didn't. I couldn't. I couldn't leave Bellamy behind, but now I can. Now I can live my life in this arena. I can make this happen. I will do what I have to do in order to succeed. I'm thankful for the rain because the tears that's been falling from my eyes are hidden. Nobody will ever know. And then it stops raining, and for a moment I feel relief, but I know the gamemakers are always thinking and always planning. I know something else is likely to happen. I sit in silence and watch the anthem play, and I feel the anger boiling inside me when I see Bellamy again. Sort of shocked over Bubby, but not really. Nothing else matters anymore. My life is all I care about. Everyone else is dead to me.

I don't even sleep, and the next thing I know a gamemaker is speaking, and the wind keeps picking up. It's getting louder and louder, and it's hard to even stand still anymore. It's hard to function. All I can think of is getting up and moving. I have to get away. The hiking trail is clear and the water is going down, and I'm looking at the dark ominous clouds in the sky. Something bad is happening. Something very bad, and all I can do is sit here. No. I can move. I'm in my feet in a matter of seconds, and I'm running as fast as I can. I'll kill whatever steps in my way. I'm not afraid. I'm never afraid. I have too much to think about. Too much to do. All I care about is murdering those who killed my friend. Fleur is at fault, and I will find her, and I will find Mauve, and I will kill them. I promise they'll never see the light of day again. They'll never step foot outside this arena. I won't let them. I refuse to let them. I will take the crown that is rightfully mine at the end of this game.

I storm through the arena watching the clouds form weirdly in the sky. I keep my spear in hand knowing I'm going to need it. I dare anything to get in my way. I know what I need to do. I don't know where anyone is going, but I know that I'll find them. There's only so many places to go in the arena, and all I care about is making sure that I get out of here alive. I want to make sure that I am the one who kills Fleur and Mauve. I trained for this for so long, and it's time to put it to use. It's time to show everyone exactly what I am capable of. So many people have underestimated me. So many people told me I would never amount to anything, and I will prove them wrong. Never again will anyone see the weaker side of me. I turn a corner and it's at the wrong time because something lunges at me. This two headed monster has no clue the amount of pain and suffering it's in for. Maybe it's trying to scare me away, but that doesn't matter to me anymore. I raise the spear into the air, and I strike it. It's in my way, and if it doesn't move, I'll make sure it gets out of my way.

The winds are strong, and I feel as though they'll blow me away with ease. I feel as though the gamemakers are angry at us for not pleasing them, and I'm tired of playing their game, but now I am part of it. I am on a mission to seek revenge, to destroy everything standing in my way until I find those responsible for Bellamy's death. Mauve and Fleur best hope this thing kills me because I won't stand a chance any other way. The only problem is this two headed monster standing in front of me. It won't move out of my way even though I've wounded it. It's frustrating to me. All I need is for it to leave me alone so I can to find Mauve and Fleur and kill them. I don't think this thing understands that it's standing in my way, but I pull the spear out of its stomach, and I take a deep breath and smile as blood gushes from the wound. It's truly wonderful, and it'll only get better as time goes on. All it takes is a little bit of luck, and a whole lot of desire, and I will kill it. I'll send its body back to where it came from so the winds can carry it away.

I watch it snap its teeth and snarl, and I try stepping out of its way because I don't want to be eaten by it. I don't want anything to happen other than for me to kill it. I'm alone, and while I might fear the wind and the clouds and the tornadoes, I don't fear this thing. Death happens. It's a natural part of life, and I'm not ready to meet my demise. I'm not ready to suffer the same fate of so many people before me. All I can do is work on getting through this ugly thing so I can find those I'm searching for. I raise the spear into the air. I told it once to get out of my way, and clearly stabbing it in the stomach didn't do a damn thing to it, so now all I have to do is kill it. I have to get it out of my way. Pain won't stop me. Nothing will stop me anymore. Nothing will stop me ever again. Getting close to someone has hurt me multiple times, and I refuse to let that happen again. I should've learned my lesson, but I didn't. Never again. I've learned it now, and it's too late.

Blood trickles from my skin. I can feel it sticking to me, but it doesn't stop me from doing what I need to do. Fear means nothing. Fear will only hold me back. Fear will kill me, and I will slaughter this thing if it's the last thing I do. My heart races rapidly as the wind keeps picking up, and I'm more afraid of this storm sweeping me away. It's loud, I can hear it roaring next to me. I can hear everything happening, and I listen as the two headed beast howls again. I hope it'll leave me, but it doesn't. It stays, and it keeps trying to kill me. I didn't even do anything to provoke it. All I did was walk down this way. It started this fight because that's all it knows, and I want it to pay the price. I want it to die. I want it to just get out of my way. Mauve and Fleur are somewhere, and I must find them no matter what it takes. I must kill them. They are the reason Bellamy died, and his death fuels me. He promised me he wouldn't leave, and he broke it by no fault of his own.

I raise the spear and try to move out of the way as it charges once more. It's weak, I can tell it is, but I know it won't stop trying until it breathes its last breath. I look at it knowing I don't have much time before it kills me. I raise my arm to block its teeth, and the armor falls apart before my very eyes. It saved me. From what I don't know, but it gives me a chance to keep going. A chance to prove myself. A chance to show that I capable of carrying my own. I take a breath. Many people have said I would never succeed, and I want to show them that I will. I want them to know just what I am capable of. I want them to know that I will kill anyone or anything standing on my way. I turn towards it, following its motions knowing that I have to do something. I charge it with my spear raised. It's almost dead, and it's time for me to push it over the edge.

This mutt just won't die, and it's starting to piss me off. All I want is for this thing to get out of my way. I have to find them. I have find Mauve and Fleur and make them pay for what they've done. I have to find them because they deserve to die. They deserve to have the same fate as Bellamy, but this stupid two headed dog won't get out of my way. Even as blood gushes from the various wounds, and it struggled to stand it still keeps going after me. It keeps attacking, and between that and the wind I know my time is coming to an end. I know that soon I will die especially if this creature doesn't die. I'm watching the tornadoes and the funnel clouds, and I'm partially afraid okie or them will pick me up and carry me away. Maybe then I could get away from this mutt. Maybe it would drop me where I want to go, but I feel like that is too much to ask for. I hold onto my spear and back away as it moves towards me, and I manage to stay alive, but I know I'm inching closer and close to death.

I take a deep breath and regain my composure. Fighting is brutal. I feel every aching pain in my body, yet this is nothing. I've been through worse. I've been through emotional pain and that's the worse kind of pain. It breaks someone down, and it's breaking me down. It's tearing at my heart, and this is why I want to make sure those who hurt me suffer. I want to go home to my family. I want to see them again. My brother. I know he's cheering for me, and I'm doing the best I can right now. Yet his love isn't what's fueling me. His love isn't what's keeping me going. Yes, I want to make him proud, but I know that it might not be plausible anymore. I ready my spear, and I take another deep breath. This mutt is tire. It's dying. I will make sure of that. I will kill it if it's the last thing I do, or I will die trying. I close my eyes for a moment side stepping again. Death is coming, but who will she take with her?

Blood gushes from the final wound, and I feel so much excitement. This thing attacked me first, it doubled my attacks, and I killed it. My heart is racing with pure bliss, and I let out a triumphant laugh as the two headed wolf falls. I'm one step closer to finding Mauve and Fleur and killing them. I'm one step closer to making them pay for the death of Bellamy. I start grabbing my things when I hear a loud roar. At first I think it's just the wind from the tornadoes and funnel clouds, but when I hear it a second time, I realize it's much closer to me than it seems. I take a deep breath as I grab another fire poker holding it in my hands. Something is coming. Something is coming quick, and I don't even know what to do. I want to run, but I'm frozen in place as the water moves. Something is inside. Something big, and its coming for me. One mutt is dead, and it really seems that the gamemakers aren't pleased for some reason.

That's when I see it. It's ugly, and scary, and I don't even know what this thing is. I've never seen anything like this in any game, and right now all I want to do is run away, but my feet are glued to the ground, and right now all I can think about is how to keep myself alive. What can I do? How can I defeat this? I take a breath, and I hold the fire poker steady in my hand knowing it'll be my best friend like it has been so many times before. I take a step back waiting for it to attack so I can see what it does, but it never moves towards me. It simply stands in the water waiting. I don't know if it wants me to attack first, or if it's going to let me go on my way. Regardless, all I can do right now is hold my breath and aim the fire poker at it. I need to make this attack count. I don't have much health left of my own, and right now I need to make everything perfect.

I ready the fire poker. My mind is calm, yet my heart is racing inside my chest, and for the first time in my entire life I'm petrified of what might happen. I'm already so close to dying, and right now all I want is to make it to the end of the game and finding the crown that belongs to me, but sometimes I can't help but think the crown doesn't belong to me. What if my purpose isn't winning? I launch the fire poker with as much precision as I possibly can. Shouldn't be too hard to hit this thing, and then when I throw it with all my might. I can't let fear hold me back. Sometimes there's more to winning a game. Sometimes people are forgotten, and I never want to be one of them. I want to be remembered as someone who is fierce and does district two proud. I want to be remembered. I dive head first into the water without thinking twice, and I swim under with my other fire poker in hand. I know how I can be remembered.
