Hey y'all, how's everybody doing? Good? Great! Let's get into this recap.
Last week, you guys voted District 10 as the district to beat right now, with the other three sets all pretty tied behind them. Now, I voted for Ariel & Thad as well last week, so I've about covered everything I had to say; that pair continues to play it smart & play it safe going into Day 6 and I'll let them keep that up. What I found interesting was the mix bag upper districts tying up with the other districts - Julian, Mauve & Areto are all huge threats going into the top 8.
In fact, the only pairs not to represent well were that of Districts 2 & 8, and girl, that's no coincidence. Shortly after, we'd see both Thread & Liara bow out of these games through some valiant fights. Now, if you guys watched Day 4, if there's anything we can say about Thread is that that boy is a fighter, just like his double-immolated brother was. Liara Arterius as well- y'all know how I love my careers, so when I saw those mutts rolling out against her I knew it was her time. Shame the arena got her, I would have loved to see a warrior like Liara in the top 8.
Our last death yesterday is going to be Blade Madison from District 5, and she's the first death we've seen from the Scout's Honor alliance insanely late game. Call it a trend, but Miss Madison was just as resilient as the other two we lost yesterday; unlike Liara, Blade would at least die with her allies at her side. A small comfort, big respect for all of the tributes & their families.
Now, what the hell is going on with this weather?! Whoever keeps voting for all this rain is cruel -- myself included, lmao. All I know is the tributes can keep it, the second it starts raining on the top 8 tour I am going home. ASAP. I'm going to warn y'all now to keep an eye out for the top 8 interviews this year though, that's all I have to say 😌.
There's not a lot of things guaranteed in the games, but the one thing is that people will change. We see it every year, sweet girls become murder machines & cheerful careers become passive causalities. Every day's a surprise, and so is our weekly question, bitch! This week we want to know which tribute is the most changed? For better or worse, who's own parents wouldn't recognize them at this point?
Usually I give my thoughts here, but you know, I want to be surprised! Last week District 10 won on a landslide, so let's see what happens when a girl keeps her mouth shut. Anyways, I have a tour to get ready for, you all enjoy the vote and I'll check back in next week.
