Their time in the bloodbath was gratefully short; they went in, got at least an item of use, and got out. Quentin has a broken foot, though, so the rest of the alliance is relatively u harmed, only some bruises here and there; there is one significant injury to be content with. It could be worse, though, all things considered. A broken foot can be mended, and walking boots can be made for Quentin to move freely; if he has a broken rib or knee, that will make things more difficult. Elijah and Quinten make it to the outer edge of the Cornucopia, the archway still in sight, but there is enough distance to prepare for anything should it come to that. Elijah hopes that he has proven himself to be a trustworthy ally, even though the knowledge that they'll end up killing each other sits in the back of his head. No one decent ever wins the Hunger Games, but maybe decency is nowhere to be found in this blighted Arena.

Elijah was able to obtain a lovely basket, which would help store any items they could find while they were out there. From their vantage point, he can see a few areas clearly. To the west, a densely packed forest rises above them, and sunlight struggles to break through its canopy. Given the lack of the sun, Elijah is surprised it is not entirely shrouded in darkness as the same small lights dance around throughout the entire Arena.

To the east, though, death has clearly claimed the forest. Black, rotted trees weep; what Elijah can only think is tar. Rotting undergrowth clings onto the forest floor, unwilling to fully decay. However, to the northeast, fungi appear to have adapted to the rotting death of the trees, flourishing in the corpses of the once gorgeous forest. These fungi are unnatural, though, as some tower over Elijah himself, one of the tallest tributes here.

Elijah has become engrossed in surveying the land and overlooks the sponsorship items until Quinten says something.

"Got anything good?" Quinten asks as he starts to assemble something for himself. Elijah sees an unopened envelope with his name on it. Opening it, he reads a note written in elaborate handwriting, explaining that he received a sponsorship from a previous GM. Elijah can get two items from any given tier from the goblin market instead of the typical one item.

"What's the goblin market?" Elijah asks, and when he looks up, he sees a market that just popped up in front of him.

"Apparently, I can get an extra item from that market," Elijah explains as he walks towards the market. He picks up some pieces of armor and an empty canteen. After fitting the breastplate and crown on him, Elijah picks up a whip he finds wrapped around a root and some bandages and rope that were strewn about.

"I'm going to try to find some water. Do you need anything or want to come with me?" Elijah asks Quinten as the others approach them.
