Ratmas Day 1: New Year Technology Fair

To celebrate the New Year, citizens and very important people of Panem are invited to District Three's New Year Technology Fair!

Feeling rather generous, the High Council has sprinkled a large funding pot into District Three this year. A newly erected conference hall will house the very first (and likely only) New Year Technology Fair. Spanning 1,000 sq feet of floor space, the conference hall is filled with rows and rows of stalls for citizens to sell their technological wares and share their innovative minds. The very bright and clinical space is decorated with gold garlands for this is the festive period after all. Outside of the conference hall on the newly refurbished pavilion are a limited number of the ever typical Ratmas stalls. Mulled wines and ciders, roasted chestnuts, festive tat and hot foods are sold here to keep all attendees fed. Those of high importance however will be welcomed to the fine dining restaurant inside of the conference hall and at the temporary hotel where they will be accommodated.

Adjacent to the pavilion, a motor racing circuit has been erected for District Three to showcase its new industry goods. It will also be the host to the hot laps competition that a select few can participate in.

Ticket and Accommodation Information
- Citizens of Districts 3,5 & 6 are given a reduced cost ticket due to the abrupt disruption of the Science Fair a few years ago as a result of the Rose Plague.
- Capitol residents and Panem citizens of an esteemed position (mayors, victors and their relatives) can attend for free.
- Other citizens must pay a high price.
- Premium accommodation is available but the majority of attendees will be accommodated in factory warehouses. The set up is like a hostel, with rows and rows of bunks. Good luck getting any privacy.

There will be three events offering bonus house points. Please post below if you wish to sign up to them. You can only enter 1 character per event. All Characters must be 12+ to enter the Hot laps and Simulation and 16+ to enter the cocktail making event. Please post your sign up below.

Extra details:
- All events will run until the end of Ratmas which will be the 7th of January.
- A new board will be created in District Three for you to post in.
- Every IC post will gain you 1 house point.
- More points will be rewarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the extra prize giving events.
- You can participate in the blitz a thon for this event.
- You can use CBD to make characters to attend this event.
