The first 'friend'(me&babydoll)

"Mother! Marie told me to go to the docks! I'll be back in a hour or two!" Faylen yelled happily up the stairs. Faylen's father looked down back at his paper, a typical day for his daughter, her mind friend telling her what to do. Faylen's mother looked down at her daughter, looking visibly tired. She nodded, as Faylen ran out the door. The air shocked her face in a cold breeze.

"Your mother hates me." Faylen sighed.

"Shut up Marie, mother doesn't hate you.. she just doesn't.. under stand you like I do" Faylen said out loud, gaining strange looks from her neighbours.

"Your Embarrassed me, Marie. Stop."
"What if your mother hates you AND me?" Faylen stopped at the words in her head. She quickly started to pick at the cuticle of her nails, making them bleed again.

"Mother doesn't' hate me.. she doesn't.. stop it marie! Why do you hate mother so much?" She said. That gained a sigh from her mind friend. Faylen hated it when she and Marie fought.

" Your mother wants to give you pills to get rid of me, do you really want to be alone? you can't live without me." She simply stated.

Faylen shrugged and continued walking. The locals looked at her, staring at her. Faylen always got stares when she walked in town, she was used to it by now. Faylen had just rounded the corner to the docks, When Marie started Whispering to her again.

"no love.. no one cares.. no one cares" Faylen sighed. "Why do you do that Marie? It's really annoying" Marie laughed.

I thought you liked that, oh well, I'll stop." Faylen smiled, turning the docks and stomping on the wood, when she looked at saw a boy sitting there. She stopped and looked at him, trying to push Marie away her whispers stilling ringing in her head.

Faylen looked around, her finger cuticles still bleeding. How did this boy know her name? She hardly ever left her house, let alone socialized. Did her father know him? He looked familiar, maybe she had seen him somewhere. She looked at the water, looking back to the boy. Should she ask him how he knew her name?

"H-h-how did you know my name?" She stammered, trying not to let Marie talk in her head, because she knew she had to respond.

" Maybe that boy hates you too..., he knows your name after all."Marie hissed.Faylen leaned her head to her side and whispered in a hushed voice "Shut up Marie! shut up!" She turned her head back to the boy, cheeks blushed lightly.

Faylen stood there awkwardly, no one had ever talked to as much as asked her to sit down. She slowly walked along the dock, sitting down next to him. The water glistened lightly, the breezes shivering her lightly. She slowly turned to him and tapped her head.

"Marie's in my head. She's my.. friend... if you can call her that." She said, lightly.

"Shut up, he'll make you get rid of me. He hates you too.. shut up. Marie hissed. Faylen sighed and rubbed her head.

"Sorry.." She whispered. Faylen looked at him.

"Why do you want to know about her? no one asks me.."

Faylen looks down, shaking her head.
"Mother says Hearing voices is not good. She says Marie isn't real. And besides, I wish Marie would go away. She tells me to shut up to often, tells me people hate me.. I don't know if she's a real person somewhere, or if everything I hear is just in my head.." She trails off lightly, being interrupted by Marie as The boy goes on.

"Why would you tell him about me? You little no good useless thing.... no one wonder everyone hates you, you need to go home right now!" Faylen clutched at her fingers again, scrapping at them until the blood drips from them. She looked at the boy, tears threatening to spill.

"I forgot.. to ask, what's your name.. ? you- you never said..."
