For Vail, a girl of great expression, it was not hard to pinpoint her favorite time of the year. In fact, there was hardly even a choice, the holiday season. The end of the year always was the best time to her, the feeling of joy circulating effortlessly throughout the chilled air, especially when it snowed, it made the beautiful young women feel overjoyed. How the merry of the season escaped anyone was a mystery to this girl, she even went out of her way to make sure people were feeling good about themselves. That being said, she would not give any money away, people needed to work for that. She would bring honest cheer to people through her actions, but as soon as people asked for money, she knew they were not getting it and left them to their own sorrow.

Over the recent days, there had been a snowfall in the Capitol. There had been many before, but Vail struggled to remember the last time it happened Christmas week. Refraining from playing in the snow on the street was hard enough for the girl, she instead enjoyed it on her balcony. In Vail's mind, the snow and her fit together just as much as her girlfriend and her did. The snow was beautiful just like Vail, and the snow was free flowing, so was Vail. The snow was almost too much for the girl to handle in terms of joy, but she overcame this pointless struggle and just continued to enjoy herself.

The holiday's were a busy time for this girl as well, especially since her family was hosting a party this year. Because she was now a young adult, she offered to be the one in charge of the planning. Vail thought that the planning would be easy enough, but there she was wrong. Unlike when her parents planned parties, thing would not just appear when she wanted them to. She actually had to give orders to the Avox's, tell them what they needed to cook, how to set up; the decorations that she had to buy! It was a crazy to her that all of this planning had to go into an event that would last no longer than four hours. She had to keep up her promise for the sake of reputation, and she believed that people would think highly of her for planning such a great event. It would all be worth it in the end, so she assumed.

Before anyone even arrived at the wonderful and massive Greene apartment, she was checking to make sure everything was in its proper place. The bedrooms were locked with everything of sentimental value to the family inside. Decorations were all up, making the residency look like a slightly smaller version of the city circle. Much like the circle, ice sculptures (how they were not melting, Vail did not know) were spread throughout her house, it was truly amazing. If she had not been there for the planning, Vail would have hardly recognized this place as where she lived her whole life. The only thing outdoing the sculptures was the Christmas tree, decorated with lights and a star on top. She loved this, every second of it.

"Oh, this is wonderful!" she exclaimed to herself. Surely everyone of her friends would be proud of her for creating such a beautiful environment, not surprised though. Surely her friends though of her as a smart young women, not an incapable failure. She was sure that they would be proud that she actually was wearing something longer than a short skirt, the red dress she was wearing actually covered a good portion of her body (it still ended far above her knees). This party was going to be the best one ever thrown by the Greene's, she was sure of it.


OOC: Because Kay is busy with the Games and all that stuff (go Mace!) and asked for someone to help out, I did. So yeah, basically, this is just a start to getting this back active again, so please post. Also, don't like, go off on a huge two person back and forth thing, that can be done in two person threads. There is no posting order, but just be courtesy, I guess that is what I'm trying to say.
