m a s o n shadow w i n t e r h o l d
Seventeen. Male. Bisexual. Danny Schwarz. Bio. Played by Briar.
Within the walls of his room, which he shares with Cupid, his blackened, frozen heart slowly rots away beneath the thick clouds of desolation that shroud his room. His scars were inflicted by Daria Blackwater, daughter of the owners of the orphanage, who took advantage of him over a little less than a year. He ended the torture himself by murdering her to avenge her dark deeds.
His parents left he and his sister, Whisper, on the doorstep of the orphanage, as they were rendered unable to care for them due to pockets empty of coins. Despite wallowing in solitude for most of his hours, he has unbreakable bonds with Whisper, Cupid, and Scar. With those three exceptions, he is a lone wolf, sticking to the shadows and out of sight from prying eyes.
Relationships: Whisper (sister), Scar (best friend), and Cupid (roommate).
i s o b e l whisper w i n t e r h o l d
Fifteen. Female. Demisexual. Caitlin Lomax. Bio. Played by Death.
Her words are hushed, as if she is murmuring a dirty secret freshly dug up from the ground into someone's ear. She is much like her brother, Shadow, preferring silence over the noise of chatter from familiar voices. But her heart is far less broken; in return, her mind harbors a dark secret: her brother murdered Daria Blackwater in cold blood and clandestine. She heard him through the thin walls as she was drifting down the corridor - all of Daria's pleas and Shadow's promises of retribution. But after all she and her brother had been through - surviving the abandonment of their parents and bearing the bleak ambiance of the orphanage - she could not bring herself to speak a word of his deception and cruelty. Not even a whisper.
Relationships: Shadow (brother) and Scar (roommate).
c e c i l y scar l e o n h a r d t
Seventeen. Female. Bisexual? Maily Tapiau. Bio. Played by Pika.
A jagged, ghostly white scar rips across her back from her left shoulder blade to her right hip. The delicate skin was torn by the sinister blade of her abusive mother at seven years old. She, a fatherless only child, had no one to shield her from harm's way. She had only herself and the wildly strong to survive, no matter how many battle scars scathed her. With her mother's own knife, one she had used to rip her daughter's greatest battle scar, and plunged it into her neck. There were no regrets or grief. Only crimson.
In the beauty of nature and the gentleness of her friends (Shadow, Mastermind, Whisper), she finds solace. With tender hands and jovial beams of sunlight, she raises verdant plants from the soil. By bringing beautiful life into the world - life that cannot tear viciously through veins or summon scarlet rivers - she is settling the score of the life she took away.
Relationships: Shadow (best friend) and Whisper (roommate).

Seventeen. Male. Undetermined sexual orientation. Face claim. Open.
With words of velvet and a sheath of arrows, he takes the world of romance by storm. It is a land he rules over, binding his hold with astounding charisma. There is no man or woman, in his mind, that he can't have, whether it is one night, a few weeks, or forever. He takes hearts and crushes them between two fingers, and then moves onto the next victim. After that, the next. And the next. And the next. There is no end to his outrageous
At the young, innocent age of seven, his parents were executed by the Capitol for the treason. They were involved in an underground rebellion against the Capitol, namely President Snow. His mother was the leader of it all, but she was betrayed by her own husband, Cupid's father, who gave her up to the Capitol after their children were threatened by officials. After a decade of misery, the pain has never ceased to numb. But he found his own cure: sex.
Relationships: Outlaw (sister), Mastermind (sister), and Shadow (roommate).
l u n a loony s p a r r o w
Sixteen. Female. Undetermined sexual orientation. Face claim. Open.
Obsession and insanity runs deep in her veins. The apple does not fall far from the tree, so it is only natural that she seems to have inherited certain eccentric personality traits from her insane mother. She delves far too deep into superstition, and is the strongest believer of the curse on the orphanage. Horoscopes, fortune telling, spirits, Ouija boards, karma, and curses are not silly superstitions, but realities to her.
But she did not inherit schizophrenia - or did she - from her mother, who committed suicide and left a note of nonsense, rambling about someone, or something, named Seven. Rumor has it that her mother murdered her father, who mysteriously disappeared one day. Or perhaps, the truth is he left and moved to the other side of the district, but the suspicious neighbors have far darker theories.
Relationships: TBD (note: no roommate at this time).
c o r e n t i n e pyro l o m a x
Fifteen. Female. Hetero/bisexual. Face claim. Played by Loony.
In her hands, she almost always holds a lighter, switching it on and off and on and off, mesmerized by the flame it produces and then extinguishes. Her unhealthy fascination with fire has cost her dearly - namely, her family and her house, reduced to ash by her clumsy hand. The guilt slowly eats away at her, more ruthless than the flames that took her family. But despite everything, she cannot rip herself away from the warm, comforting light of fire.
Relationships: Nightmare (roommate).
l o u i s nightmare b a i n h o l l o w
Sixteen. Male. Undetermined sexual orientation. Face claim. Played by Damen.
He is torn apart by nightmares nearly every time he closes his eyes, for behind their lids are the blood of his family oozing down the white walls of his former home. In his head, their screams and the sinister voice of his psychopathic brother echoes eternally, never leaving him in peace. Under his tired, dull eyes are dark purple circles from staying up late into the night, tossing and turning, gripped by the fear of caving into sleep. Because if he falls asleep, terror will strike.
Relationships: Pyro (roommate).
v i c t o i r e outlaw h a z e l t i n e
Sixteen. Female. Undetermined sexual orientation. Face claim. Played by Fox.
Rebellion blazes bright within her, kindled by the anger and despair over the execution of her parents for treason. She is naturally drawn to trouble and is infamous throughout the orphanage for pulling pranks - some that are not exactly fun. Her tongue is caustic with sarcasm and crude humor. Her temper is a bomb slowly ticking with every insult against her, and it is a lethal explosion that no one wants to get caught in.
Relationships: Cupid (brother) and Bandit (roommate).
d a k o t a mastermind h a z e l t i n e
Fourteen. Female. Undetermined sexual orientation. Jemma Baines. Bio. Played by Arx.
In a matter of minutes, her mind can conjure a maze of a scheme to bring down an enemy. Mastermind is a name she earned with her sharp intelligence and wicked plots. She is prefers solitude over the company of others, and would rather bury her head in books than sleep, despite being heckled for her antisocial "bookworm" behavior. It would not be wise to cross her, because once a foot is over the line, she will thrust her victim into a merciless cyclone of vengeance.
Betrayal is signing a war declaration in her mind, a principle that surfaced within her after her father gave her mother up to the Capitol for the plotting of a rebellion. But in all of her resentment toward him, there is still grief even for his death. Despite handing her mother over to the Capitol, he was executed with her along with everyone else in the rebellion. And for that above everything else, she grieves.
Relationships: Cupid (brother) and Haze (roommate).
a s t l e y haze h a w k i n g
Seventeen. Male. Bisexual. Landon Liboiron. Bio. Played by Muffin.
He is often locked in a haze - hence his name - of drunkenness. It is his remedy for the pain of his past, his bandages to stop the eternal bleeding. His thief father was made an avox by the Capitol, and his mother drowned herself in a sea of whiskey and tears. If he follows in her footsteps, so be it; in his perspective, perhaps death is blissful in comparison to a life of misery.
Relationships: Bandit (sister) and Mastermind (roommate).
k e s t r e l bandit h a w k i n g
Sixteen. Female. Undetermined sexual orientation. Face claim. Open.
Her sticky fingers pick up trinkets and coins, making small heists everywhere she goes. Thievery seems to run in her blood, passed down to her by her father, who was made an avox by the Capitol for stealing food for she and Haze. The only trace of her late alcoholic mother is the lies she is able to conjure in the midst of any situation, from slightly off putting to perilous. But the same cannot said for her brother, who she is protective over despite him being her elder.
Relationships: Haze (brother) and Outlaw (roommate).
