Leah-Cassandra Bellami
Feeling the wind rushing past her face was just one of the things that Leah-Cassandra loved about riding horses. She was definitely going much quicker that she'd ever achieve when running on her own, and with riding her horse, the horse got to enjoy itself as well. This particular horse that she was riding was one that had been around since she was rather young. The horse's name was Apple, and she was jet black with a beautiful mane that shimmered in the sunlight. Her hooves were dirty at the moment from all the riding they had been doing, and there was a bit of mud that had splashed up on Leah-Cassandra's boots, as well as the underside of the horse.
Thrill was another part of riding her horse that the young girl absolutely adored. Apple was fast, and would even jump over an obstacle on occasion, making Leah-Cassandra laugh with delight. Having been a horse-back rider since she was very young, she was very experienced when it came to anything from telling the horse where to go, to getting it to stop when she needed to, to turns, jumps and speed, all on command. It also helped that Apple was such a good learning, and Leah-Cassandra had so much patience.
Eventually, coming back to the house from the long trail that she and her horse companion had taken, the girl dismounted. Returning Apple to the stable to rest, Leah-Cassandra also supplied her horse with a snack, which was a carrot. Filling up the water trough for the horse, she patted her horse on the head for a moment before saying goodbye to her for the time being. When she left the stable, she then headed back up to the main building of the farm, which was her house that she lived in.
When she reached her house, she went inside, removed her coat and riding boots, and called out to say hello to her mother and inform her that she had returned from riding. For a moment, there was no acknowledgement, but eventually, her mother did reply and said that Leah-Cassandra was free to do whatever she would like for the remainder of the day. Therefore, she decided that she was going to venture outside and go for a bit of a run herself, after having had Apple do some exercise. She changed into her sneakers and slipped on a sweatshirt, having determined that if she was going to run, she would get overheated with her coat on, and that a sweatshirt would be more well suited for the current situation.
Making her way outside, she started out with a jog. Slowly starting to reach an area of the district where there were more homes, she loved observing her surroundings as she went. Eventually, she got to a point where she needed a break from running, and had started to walk by the time she reached an open field. Deciding that, due to her love of nature, she would go for a venture through the field, she headed over in that direction. She noticed that a few other people had had a similar idea, and were walking in that area as well. There was even a trail that led out of the field and through a small wooded area where anyone in the district was allowed to be, and therefore, Leah-Cassandra followed it.
Reaching the end of the trail, it came out on another end of District Ten, near the district square. She decided to keep walking when she got there, and saw that a lot of people were around. There were young kids playing and teens laughing. Adults were conversing and people of all ages were just enjoying themselves. Leah-Cassandra loved to see this. She smiled, and thought to herself how much more beautiful the people made the District. Seeing someone approach her, she turned around. She didn't really seem to know this person's name, but felt that they looked familiar. She greeted them with a smile and a simple hello.
