Tutor Event - Mix & Mingle!

well you came to the right place!

For the first time in site history, the tutors are bringing you lucky singles a chance to meet up with new friends! With the games ending and off season approaching, it's time to get our foxy district writing on, so welcome to what we dub- the mix and mingle. This writing event is geared towards branching out our writing groups and adventure a little, blurbing and plotting out ideas with a whole new crowd of creative thinkers. Over all, the goal here is engaging our entire community together, one sexy, sexy thread at a time.  We encourage you all to come out and participate in this first tutor event!

how does it work?

Sign ups for the mix and mingle begin today and will remain open for the remainder of the event; however, the real festivities start soon - September 4th! Between now and the event's end, all you have to do to sign up is post in this thread, isn't that sweet? To get the most bang for your plotting-buck, early registration is encouraged as the swingers' train waits for no one.

From then forwards we have three weeks to yell, shout and write out as much as possible with as many people as possible. Up until September 25th, our goal is to thread the most with all new people -- members you've never threaded with before! As we progress, you and your newfound writing partners will need to track your word counts in your posts below, much like in blitz a thon. Why? That's because we've got...

prizes!

Yes sirree, any writer participating will be eligible for a nice reward! Every participant who finishes a designated thread will receive a graphic forged from the graphic team loins themselves - including but not limited to myself, stare, zoe and more. However, the champion of all mixing and mingling will find themselves with the grand prize,  fit only for the strongest word count-bearer out there. On September 30th, our grand winner will be announced with their own otm reward.

- site standards for posting applies; blitz posting allowed
- finishing a thread means you win! congrats! 
- having the high word count means you really win! congrats x2!
- for this event, games threading does not count towards threading with somebody prior
