(  HARVARD   CUSTOMS  )

- Laundry Day. Laundy is an emphasized chore every sunday, which Delilah brings the House together to get done. Any unwanted clothes get cleaned & put onto a rack in the sun room, which the other Harvard kids can thrift from as wanted. The bottom of the rack clothes get donated back to District 2's thrift stores. 

- Gazebo Readings. Every few months, Headmaster Delilah plans an afternoon to decorate the Grounds' Gazebo for a reading day with the Harvard kids. Mostly Delilah will choose the books from the Harvard Library; however, the kids can bring whatever they think interests them or others. A piano and a violin are present as well, so the musically-inclined kids can take part in the afternoon.

(  HARVARD   GROUNDS  )

- The Harvard House. Two-stories, multiple bedrooms. Previously, Harvard Girls would share three to a room; however, with less Harvard kids, some have been able to have single rooms. (Dorm Rooming Chart if you guys are interested?)

- The Greenhouse & Surrounding Garden. Taking up most of the south-eastern property, the Greenhouse & Garden are a Harvard project mostly maintained by Delilah & the other groundskeepers. Lost things tend to wind up in the garden. Harvard Kids with an interest in botany are always invited to work with nature here. The Gazebo is located in the north east, along with a permanent outdoor piano. 

- The Tree Line. A thin-but-dense strip of trees that borders the backside of the house (western). You can find the tool shed, chicken coop & an art bijou all in the thin backyard.

Character Description: I remember looking at the stars and being told by my moms how hard it was to be them growing up. How it felt immoral to love who you love. They both told me how sometimes they wished they could be a star in the sky, because a star in the sky is just a star. They can be a star and people can respect them and admire them. My mothers both grew up not feeling like their love was acceptable. Even from their own family. So, once they were able to have that family of their own, and house me under their wings, they felt like they belonged. That their identity was important. It still is.

The only thing that still remains of their identity is the telescope in my hand. I use it to look into the stars, at the ones that glimmer and shine, and hope that somewhere in that sky they have a spot neighboring each other. Where they could be the stars that people would admire from afar just because stars are pretty. Love is pretty, so I admire those stars a lot. It just sucks that I watch them alone.

basically thomas grew up with two moms but they both disappeared one day while he was at school. super into astrology. thomas likes to draw and is just lonely. came to the home after hearing the mothers tell him about it as if they knew that they would disappear or be gone someday.
