Many hands were shook and cash flowed freely in order for Blessing Fenwick, a co-ceo of NERVAlink with a background in neuroscience, to establish the Blessing Fenwick Hospital of Mercy, known as BFHM, built in the rubble and remains of the bombings.

With the promise to pay for the clean-up of the block of warehouses, destroyed in the bombings, Blessing purchased almost 10 acres of Six's land. With millions of dollars being funnelled into Six through this project, Fenwick broke ground on her teaching hospital in late fall.

The building features a state of the art NERVAlink computer system, known as Haven. Haven runs all systems at the hospital, making it the first smart building to exist in Six. The program is the same AI that runs NERVAlink's headquarters. While the AI can be programmed to look like physically anyone, Nurse Haven is programmed to look one of their first victor clients.

The hospital also features a separate quarantine building for rose plague patients as well as a wing dedicated to neurology. Within said wing, there is a dedicated set of doctors putting into practice Blessing’s patented schematics for prosthetic limbs that communicate with the user’s brain via a small chip inserted therein. Yes, yes, this has been tested on many a lab rat, not to mention the aforementioned victor. click for a description in this thread

Lastly, there is a school dedicated entirely to teaching the next generation of Panem's brightest medical minds. The large campus features student dorms as well as state of the art apartments for the teaching staff and doctors who choose to live on campus.

The hospital is now open ready for teachers, students and patients.

Hello all, BFHML is a little hospital plot, think your favourite medical show and envision the hell out of it, sponsored through Blessing Fenwick & NERVAlink. I thought it could be really fun to have a ‘Grey’s’ sort of hospital playground where you can run around with your med students to your heart’s content. With the revamp, mayor change, etc, I figured there was no better time.

This is a learning hospital, so doctors in residence are also teachers and get a small gaggle of students to follow them around and be mostly wrong about things like little ducklings. Got a kid fresh out of high school and want to send them through med school? Look no further, Blessing’s hospital has designated classrooms!

Real fun fact, like most Fenwicks, Blessing has ulterior motives! Any research information / patient info / journal entry / etc. entered into the hospital’s system is transferred as research data to NERVAlink headquarters and turned into a nice little morning report in Blessing’s inbox.

*students as well as doctors who show great promise may be offered a job at NERVAlink and have the opportunity to live in a special NERVAlink compound in the capitol!*

Please keep in mind I don't know a thing about hospital structure I am literally going off a vague memory of House and also the two episodes of grey's i watched and then the like 2 seasons of ER. (did u know there are actually so many famous people in that?)

Blessing Fenwick - played by Elegant - Blessing is a Fenwick from the main family line. (cousin to copernicus + cousin to azazel). The Fenwicks are based on vintage high society and women are viewed as objects to be married off by her father’s generation, so she’s a fox in a hen house. She left high school early to pursue a medical career. Moved quickly through med school, became a prosthetics expert for the hunger games then after a few years she was approached to help start NERVAlink. Went back to school for neurology with the intention of upping her prosthetics game. Saw the ruin of Six as an opportunity and started planning.

Hospital Director - played by OPEN - this is the person who runs things at the hospital / lives in Six to do so. They can be either from Six or from the Capitol, either way they should be at least 35 years old. Gender is up to you as well as background, though it will have to be medical. As a bonus, you will also have the role of Education and Training Secretary on the District 6 council!

Dean - played by OPEN - Reports to the Director, keeps things running smoothly in the learning building. Essentially a university dean, should be at least 30. Can have a background in any medical field but probably more admin focused. NERVAlink hires like-minded people, so they should be firm but approachable.

*please note that I've chosen to let us write younger adults for this plot despite the gravity of the positions they hold. Resident should be no younger than 25., up from there.
