Ratmas 2018: White Elephant Sign-ups!

Do you have a character that you’d love to see written from a different perspective? Are you itching for a writing challenge of your own? If so, this year’s White Elephant Ratmas event is for you! For just a few days, you’ll have the opportunity to write another member’s character (and have your character written by someone else in return)!

So how does it work?

You may sign up as many characters as you’d like, keeping in mind that because this is a swapping event, that’s the number of characters you’ll receive. Signups will close on December 30th, and you’ll receive your swaps on December 31st. The event itself will take place on January 6th, when you’ll make at least one post using the character(s) you’ve been assigned. This can be a oneshot or, if you’d like to arrange one, a thread. To earn points, oneshots must be posted on the day of the event. Threads must be started on the day of the event, but you can keep earning points with them until the end of Ratmas! The more you post, the more points you’ll earn.

What if I have someone specific I want to swap with?

No problem! To avoid the complications of “stealing” in White Elephant, we’re just going to let y’all tell us ahead of time if there’s a specific person you want to swap with. Just make sure you both list each other on the form below.
