Roll up, roll up! It's the Hunger Games RPG Writing Festival!! Feast your eyes ladies and gentlemen, for we have a summer filled with creative activities and fun events for you! There are prizes to be won, new initiatives to get involved in, and exciting features to be unveiled! So, grab a candy apple and take a look around - You might like what you see!
Attention! This year, for the first time, we will be implementing an Adopt-A-New-Writer! Those who consider themselves "new writers" can sign-up to be assigned an older writer to thread with! We, as a staff, believe this will increase RP partner diversity as well as assimilate new writers better.
In order to keep this running as smoothly as possible, we ask that older writers apply to adopt. This is so we can create the best pairs with the most dedicated older writers. The older writer is responsible for starting a creative, fun thread. If, within five days of the assignment (unless already worked out), the thread hasn't been started, the new writer can PM an RP Tutor to be re-assigned.

This year, for the first time, the Capitol has announced a party to encourage sponsorship of tributes. Capitol citizens, Victors and Gamemakers are all invited. Dress your best and be prepared to root for your favorite characters!
The party will run from the 68th Reaping until the start of the Games. An OOC poll will be available for participants to vote for their favorite tributes and IC campaigning for particular tributes is heavily encouraged (that’s what the party is all about!). At the end of the party, the tribute with the most votes as well as tributes whose campaigns were particularly potent will receive a generous amount of sponsorship money!
Please note that the judging by the staff of IC campaign will not be judged by how many posts are made for a particular tribute, but by how well the campaign is executed and how well the post is written in that particular tribute’s favor. President Snow will begin the party. It’s at his mansion, after all.
Keep an eye out for an announcement after the Reaping.
Behold! The RP Tutors are launching a new initiative to get writers to explore their creative side. We are proud to announce the launch of the Monthly Writing Challenge! Every month the Tutors will release a new challenge to test members in a wide range of skills and activities. The best will receive a small prize that will vary from month to month.

You there! Do you want to learn more about the Tributes of previous Games? No? Well, you should! Every Tribute has their own tragic and wonderful story. By signing up to the third Wikithon, not only are you arming yourself with knowledge of the site's history, but you can win prizes galore! To get involved, head over to the link below!
What's that, you say? The Tutors would like to announce another new feature - The Resource Pages! After consulting with each-other and putting together our different resources, we have created a masterlist of links to sites that can help you with your writing. By categorizing them into relevant pages, you can find exactly the tools you are looking for.
