94th Post-Based Sponsorship: Goblin Market

94TH POST-BASED SPONSORSHIP: GOBLIN MARKET

Following no rule of logic or physics, the Goblin Market is a sprawling bazaar that spawns in every area of the arena daily. Brightly-coloured tarp makes the clusters of stalls, manned by little toad-like goblins who beckon you closer with strange wares they pull out from behind tables. The price they ask? Secrets and stories, tales and tragedies.

In a strange mimicry of human nature, fey beings value proper etiquettes and manners. The storybooks have written about fey societies that have hierarchies similar to a human civilization’s, abound with courtesans who love to wield charisma like a weapon, and those rules are indeed in place here, tributes. However, all fairies are tricksters who love secrets. Thus, the arena rewards the tributes who wagers secrets and stories of others.

For the 94th’s sponsorship, tributes will not pay in monetary value, but instead trade secrets and pleasantries for gifts. The sponsorship list of the 94th will have specific tiers that yield rewards, which can only be gained by threading with other tributes. The tiers are as follow:

🌿 Tier One - Winter: Every tribute who has threaded with a minimum of 2 tributes are eligible to the rewards of this tier. Choose two, unless it is a just-for-fun item. JFF items can be obtained indefinitely, but they must not yield any mechanical benefit or be used as a part of an in-character trap.

- Antidote

🌿 - Tier Two - Autumn: Every tribute who has threaded with a minimum of 4 tributes are eligible to the rewards of this tier. Choose one.

- Fey Blessing - Gnarled wood breastplate (+5 torso)
- Fey Curse - Crown of thorns (+5 head)
- Flint
- Medkit (2 n/t and 15ft bandages)

🌿 - Tier Three - Summer: Every tribute who has threaded with 8 tributes or more are eligible for the rewards of this tier. Choose one.

- Fey Blessing - A bronze glaive with ivy details (glaive)
- Fey Curse - A set of knives wrought from the bone of an old creature (10 throwing knives)
- Full canteen (purified)

🌿 - Tier Four - Spring: Every tribute who has threaded with 12 tributes or more are eligible for the rewards of this tier. Choose one.

- Fey Blessing - A resplendent armor wrought in frost (+10 torso)
- Fey Curse - A vial of emerald-green, corrosive acid (3 rounds of tar in 1 fight; extinguishes automatically afterwards)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

To qualify as a successful interaction/thread, the thread between two (or more) tributes must:

-  Be between two or more writers. Solo threads do not count.

- Have a minimum of one post from each person in the thread. Fillers do not count for all parties, regardless of whoever used it, meaning a filler post will deem the entire thread ineligible for interaction points.

- Be a non-mandated thread. All mandated threads are not taken into account, including mutt fights. Leisure threads, however, are qualified and strongly encouraged!

- Have one thread for one tribute to count as interactions. However, if you do participate in a group thread, you are eligible to claim one tribute you have not previously written with as part of your interaction! 

FQA:

Does the Bloodbath count?: No!

Are TC/Train threads allowed? Yes. It is highly encouraged to maximize all interactions by this.

Will this stack with leisure posting? Will they each need to be separate threads or can they be the same? Yes it will stack. They can be the same.

Do filler posts count? Big resounding no.

If I post and the other person responds with a filler, does it still count for me? This does not count as an interaction still has not occurred.

If I post and the other person does not respond at all, does that still count for me? No. Both tributes have to respond with at least one post for that particular interaction to count.

Do threads with dead tributes count? (If I posted in a funeral thread with someone I hadn’t threaded with before, does that count? Yes. However, mutual interaction must be present. Save this for last word threads.

Do indirect interactions like delivery words or lobster telephones or walkie-talkies or asynchronous messages count? No. Also - OOC posts do not count. However, IC posts where you write with another tribute about sending or receiving the message do count. It has to be a post to be eligible, not dialogue-based threads.
